Alleged human traffickers appear in court

 The eight people arrested for alleged human trafficking in the South-West this week are to appear in Plymouth Magistrates Court this morning, a statement from the Gangmasters Licensing Authority (GLA) says. reports the recruiter.  


They are Lenka Cmejlova, Jiri Sebelik, Martin Tancos, Katerina Kuriova, Nela Dzurkova, Petr Tancos, Sandra Tancosova and Ruzena Tancosova, all from Plymouth. As Recruiter reported earlier this week, the five women and three men were arrested on suspicion of trafficking people in the UK for the purpose of labour exploitation and money laundering following raids in Cornwall and Plymouth. The eight alleged victims are Czech nationals who remain in the care of Plymouth City Council, The Salvation Army and the British Red Cross
